I assure you that somewhere in Europe, there’s an American asking for the other kind of bacon they have in the States. Wanna guess where Stixite’s writer (Dale) is from?
I’m the first person in my Scottish/English family born in America, and as a kid went across the pond every 3 or 4 years. But the first recollection I have of English bacon is from when I was 13. Me, my brother, & my cousin were up in the middle of the night & hungry. Cousin suggestions bacon sandwiches. Bro & I say hell yeah. Hmm bacon looks different…
OMG I found something better than bacon – and it’s still friggin bacon!
Canadian Bacon? haha

Hmmmmmmm. Bacon.
And Canadian bacon doesn’t count. It’s not real. In fact, it’s so NOT real, I would have thought they’d have called it American Bacon.
American bacon is the only true bacon. Canadian is just ham and everywhere else is just pork chops.
American Bacon is just pork fat. Real Bacon has meat in there as well.
bacon is bacon…unless its canadian. then its ham.
